Anna Quinn’s Personal Transformation
Anna started working out with the sole intention of growing her glutes. She quickly found that although there was an abundance of information and programs, most of the influencers promoting them seemed to already have glutes before they started training. Within the first year of her personal fitness journey, Anna’s quest for more knowledge led her to obtaining her first (of 4) personal training certifications, and later landing her first job as a Personal Trainer at Golds Gym. How can I stay accountable to an online trainer?
We have all of our clients schedule out their workouts in the Modest Muscle app. If you miss your workout (and don’t reschedule), we automatically get an email letting us know. This helps us track your consistency (and recognize when it’s lacking!)
Do I need special equipment?
No! Your program will be customized based on the equipment available to you.
How do I know how long to rest in between exercises?
Your rests will be timed in the app – just hit “start” on the timer after completing the exercise, and you’ll rest for the time your trainer has allotted.
Do I have to pay extra for the app?
No, the app is free to our clients as long as they continue training.
Does online coaching include meal plans?
Yes! Not only do we include a meal plan, but we include unlimited modifications/adjustments to your meal plan. If you’re traveling, eating out at a restaurant, hungry, or bored with your meal plan, we’ll help you with a plan of action, and/or get a new meal plan up for you within 24 hours.
I’m a picky eater, will you be able to create a program I’ll enjoy?
Yes! We are able to work around your dietary restrictions / preferences. We want this to be a meal plan you not only enjoy, but can stay consistent with!
Will you post photos or videos of my progress on the internet?
We never post client photos without obtaining permission first.
Do I have to have a gym membership?
No! However, if we think a gym membership is necessary to reach your specific goals, we may strongly recommend obtaining one down the road – or at least investing in some in-home gym equipment.
How many workouts are included?
Once you join the Modest Muscle Training App, you’ll be required to fill out a detailed consultation form with more information about your schedule / availability to workout. The amount of workouts your trainer chooses to give you will be based on your goals, the information you provide in your consultation form, and any other regular physical activity necessary to be taken into account.
How long are the workouts?
The workouts will be customized for you, so however long you have. If you have limited time for workouts, let your trainer know so your workouts can be designed accordingly! Otherwise, most workouts are in the 60-90min range, depending on how long it takes for you to set up machines, move around, etc.
I have never worked out (or it's been a long time!) Will I be able to do the workouts?
Absolutely! The form videos provided give very thorough instructions on how to do your workouts – and if you’re ever unsure, you can always reach out to our team for support. Your workouts will be customized based on your previous level of physical activity – and if they’re too hard, all you have to do is let us know and we’ll have easier workouts / modifications up within 24 hours.
I have a busy schedule, will my meals interfere with that?
No. We have plenty of resources to help you maintain consistent results when you’re traveling; your coach will always just be one text message away. Our goal is to not only help you stay on track while you’re traveling, but to help you learn new healthy habits that don’t change just because your schedule / location has.
How much does 1:1 Online Training cost?
We have many different payment options – but before discussing those, we want to make sure you’d be a good fit for our 1:1 coaching program. We only discuss payment options over the phone after we’ve mutually decided it’s a good fit.

Our form workshops are 60-90 minute sessions where we provide a comprehensive review of your form, make necessary adjustments and modifications, and send you home with a game plan / recommendations to get you on the fast track to your desired results. Whether the goal is to grow your glutes, reduce knee pain, or strengthen your back or core; we are confident that our form workshops will be the game changer for you!
6 Week Challenge
Our 6 week challenges are an opportunity to receive the benefits of video-guided coaching and a custom meal plan, in the Modest Muscle App, without paying the full price of 1:1 coaching! Each challenge is designed for the group based on a specific goal (varying each challenge). The 6 week challenges are designed to surround you with community, improve and teach proper form, and give you a healthier approach towards your nutrition!
